The monograph maps the current situation in the imposition of pre-trial detention, offering a criminal law and clinical/psychiatric perspective on the issue (e.g. on the conditions for its imposition) in the Czech Republic. Attention is paid to the set of persons who have been imposed by the court after the introduction of this measure in the Czech Republic. The publication also includes case studies that offer a more detailed view of these seriously mentally disordered offenders.
