Probation and its efectiveness from the perspective of offenders, the public and the media

Anotace
The publication summarizes findings from research on probation. In-depth and semi-structured narrative interviews were used to explore the experiences of offenders who are supervised by a probation officer. Public opinion research was also conducted on a representative sample of the Czech population, mapping their opinions on probation and on the possibilities of its use in working with offenders. An analysis of the media representation of probation in the Czech media was also carried out.
