Anotation
In its theoretical part, the monograph offers various concepts related to criminal or aggressive behaviour of women, and chapters containing statistical data on prosecuted, convicted and imprisoned women are also included. The empirical part then contains a description of the actual research carried out and conclusions mapping the personal characteristics of women convicted of serious crime (defined for the purposes of the research as a prison sentence of more than 5 years). For comparison purposes, the book also contains statistical data on the prison population in Europe and Slovakia or an overview of the research conducted so far on women's delinquency in the Czech Republic.
