Analysis of crime trends in the Czech Republic in 2017
Annotation
The publication presents basic statistical indicators of crime and deals with the development of criminal and sanction policy in the Czech Republic. It also analyses two specific categories of offenders and the crimes they commit - persons under 18 and foreigners. The Yearbook also presents outputs from the annual expert survey on the basic characteristics of organised criminal groups in the Czech Republic. Selected findings from the IKSP research on the level of victimisation of the population by the monitored offences are also presented. The expert book is supplemented by a number of graphs and tables in the appendices.
