Selected Aspects of the Drug Issue from the Citizens' Point of View
Anotation
The publication summarises the results of a survey on public opinion on substance abuse and drug policy. The research surveyed the basic knowledge of the citizens of the Czech Republic about the development of criminal legislation in this area, the way citizens perceive the drug problem in a broader sense, how they feel informed about the individual components of drug policy, and their opinions and attitudes on sub-topical issues such as the promotion of a healthy lifestyle or the possibility of using the cannabis plant for medicinal purposes. Its aim was to obtain new knowledge about the knowledge, opinions and attitudes of the public on important aspects of substance use issues, in the context of the state and development of legal and illegal drug use in the Czech Republic, through a representative public opinion survey IKSP_D2010 and using other methods.
