Analysis of crime trends in the Czech Republic in 2018
Annotation
The publication presents basic statistical indicators of crime and deals with the development of criminal and sanction policy in the Czech Republic. It also analyses two specific categories of offenders and the crimes they commit - persons under 18 and foreigners. The Yearbook also presents the results of an annual expert survey on the basic characteristics of organised crime groups in the Czech Republic. A newly included chapter monitors trends in the execution of non-conditional prison sentences. The expert book is supplemented by a number of graphs and tables in the appendices.
