Analysis of crime trends in 2014

Annotation
The publication contains basic information obtained from departmental statistics of the Police of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic on criminal activity in our territory, and a criminological commentary on them. It also offers information on so-called known offenders, broken down by gender, age and recidivism, informs about changes in the number of registered victims and makes available some information about suicides. Special chapters in the current edition of the publication are devoted to the development of the Czech prison system in the last decade, the problem of recidivism of juvenile offenders in the sense of criminal law, victims of crime registered by the police and the current topic of the development trends of cybercrime in the Czech Republic. The publication traditionally includes many additional graphs and tables, including appendices, following previous analyzes of crime trends.
