Victims of crime. Findings from the victimization study.
Annotation
The book summarizes the results of the project "Research on victims of crime focused on the experience of the Czech population with selected types of offences in the monitored period". The primary objective of the research was to determine the extent of victimisation of the population by the crimes under study and thus to obtain a complementary source of information on the extent of crime in the Czech Republic, including its latent part. The secondary objective was to obtain more detailed information related to the victimisation experienced (e.g. reporting or reasons for not reporting incidents to the police, secondary victimisation, effects of victimisation...), as well as other opinions of the population on issues related to crime such as fear of crime or care for victims.
