Probation as an effective tool for reducing recidivism

The publication summarizes the results of a research project whose goal was to analyze available knowledge about the effectiveness of probation in relation to criminal recidivism. Special attention is paid to the paradigm of desistance. The empirical part of the publication brings findings from its own questionnaire survey among probation officers.
